Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 11, 2026
1. Overview
This policy explains how KISKIR handles information on this official website and points to the project-specific privacy pages for KoalaTube, YouTube Exoskeleton, YouTube Nightly Wiki, Archi's Torch 3D Space Scanner, and LoopCam.
2. Project-Specific Privacy Pages
Read the specific policies for KoalaTube, YouTube Exoskeleton, YouTube Nightly Wiki, Archi's Torch, and LoopCam. Each page describes the product's local data boundary and user-controlled export behavior.
3. Shared Product Boundary
KISKIR projects are built without product telemetry, product analytics, advertising SDKs, login, account management, subscriptions, in-app purchases, or paid plans. Core product work runs locally on the user's device or browser. This boundary is separate from aggregate analytics used on the public kiskir.dev website.
4. KoalaTube
KoalaTube runs as a local-first Chrome extension for YouTube. It stores observed watch progress, explicit feedback, transcript-derived signals, rubric settings, and cached YouTube-local channel metadata in browser-local storage. It does not require a KISKIR account, call an external scoring service, use telemetry, or read account watch history from before installation.
5. Archi's Torch 3D Space Scanner
Archi's Torch 3D Space Scanner does not require an account, does not use advertising or analytics SDKs, and does not send scan files to KISKIR servers. Camera and LiDAR access are used on device to capture local mesh data. Scan files remain in the app's local storage unless the user chooses to export an OBJ file through the iOS share sheet.
6. LoopCam
LoopCam uses the iPhone camera to show a live workout preview, detect body pose on device, and count repeated movement. It does not currently create an account, upload workout video, sell personal data, use third-party advertising analytics, or send body-pose data to KISKIR servers. Optional workout recordings are stored locally unless the user chooses to save or share them.
7. YouTube Exoskeleton
YouTube Exoskeleton runs as a browser-local study surface. It does not require a KISKIR account and does not send YouTube URLs, subtitles, notes, or reading drafts to a KISKIR backend. Browser-local data stays local unless the user exports, deletes, or shares it.
8. YouTube Nightly Wiki
YouTube Nightly Wiki stores watch-history evidence, YouTube URLs, metadata, transcripts, summaries, outlines, and Jingdu notes in the user's local llm-wiki and Obsidian workflow. It does not require a KISKIR account or send those archive artifacts to a KISKIR backend unless the user separately chooses to publish or share them.
9. Website Information
The official website is a static informational surface. KISKIR uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate website traffic, page views, referring pages, approximate device/browser information, and basic engagement with public pages. Hosting, security, and analytics providers may process routine technical information such as IP address, browser type, requested URLs, referring pages, request timestamps, and security logs to operate, measure, and protect the site.
10. How Information Is Used
Website analytics and technical information are used to understand which public pages are useful, operate the site, protect it from abuse, and diagnose reliability issues. Product data is used only for the local product workflows described on each project page.
11. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. Product files, videos, scans, transcripts, notes, and readings are not shared with KISKIR by default. Website analytics and technical logs may be processed by Google Analytics, hosting providers, and security providers that help measure, operate, and protect the website.
12. Retention And Choices
Local project data remains on the user's device or browser until the user deletes it, clears browser storage, removes the app, exports it, or shares it elsewhere. Website analytics and technical logs are retained according to the relevant analytics, hosting, and security providers' operational policies.
13. Contact
For privacy questions, contact Sihang Chen through the public contact channel listed on the KISKIR website.
